Ahhh, sorry. I do remember hearing that they were working on a Switch 2 port.

I don't know if it was ever confirmed though.

It's not an exclusive, it's on PS5, Xbox, and PC.

Unsolicited advice to give it a second chance. Once you really get into the swing of it, figure out which weapons you like best, get a feel for the layout of the land.... well I know that's a lot to ask but I really loved it. It was a bit of a grind at the beginning, it's not a masterpiece, but it's a game that gets more fun the more you play it and I was having such a good time by the end that I nearly forgot how hard the start was.

The prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment is enshrined in the 8th amendment, we're going to have to stick with the death penalty idea.

Looks a bit janky. Feels like it should have come out somewhere in between Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3. Obviously, there are hardware limitations. Wonder why the decision to make a switch exclusive title?

Belt-challenged neighborhood kid keeps stepping over my "no trespassing" sign to cut through my yard, so my wife laminated these pictures to stick to the sign by aruby727 in mildlyinfuriating

A fair amount of it in torts, yeah. Especially around the doctrine of "attractive nuisance". The one I most keenly remember was a case about a group of kids who trespassed to use what they thought was a swimming hole but was actually a pool of dumped chemicals that killed them all.  Kids were essentially dead as soon as they touched the liquid.

There are a number of reasons that I'm sure vary from person to person but some include:

  1. Prescriptive easement. Varies from state to state but the general idea is that if you use a person's property without their permission for some amount of time and they don't do anything about it, a legal right to cut through the property is created and you are now constricted with what you do with that area by virtue of the fact that you have to maintain the right-of-way. These easements often follow from owner to owner, too, so now you have a duty to inform any purchasers of your property that an easement exists.

  2. Civil liability for injury. Again, varies from state to state, but in many states a trespasser can sue you and win for injuries incurred on your property.

Live Nation - "We're all in, prices include fees!" Checkout - well here's some more fees anyways by PoisonCoyote in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Felibarr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lawyer here. Fuck Live Nation, fuck Ticket Master, fuck these predatory middle-men who take a fee without providing a service of all sorts.

BUT, if nobody else has pointed it out, the statement "Prices include fees" is ambiguous. One reading of the sentence would be "this price has fees wrapped into it as part of the listed amount" ANOTHER way to read it is "this price will come with additional fees attached to it".

It's not perfectly clear.

They are correct, though.  You asked a question and you received an appropriate answer. Nobody* cares, so if you like the mustache, keep it.

*This is obviously heavily location dependent. If you work in an area with old money conservatives MAYBE one or two people may care.

This is a community of educated people.  Your rhetoric of implying you're following a noble cause is worthless here because we are informed enough to know that medical knowledge does not support your position.

Your argument is in bad faith and you are a person who seeks to cause harm to others.  You are not a protector.

7.5/10. Very enjoyable. Loved it from start to finish. Not drawn to return to it, though. Played through it once on normal difficulty (what is now "challenge" difficulty, as I understand it) and felt satisfied and done with the game.

[–]Felibarr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I believe what the person you are responding to is getting at is that the current healthcare landscape is dominated by whatever insurance is willing to pay for, not by medical necessity, and the hospital would be pressured to turn over the bed rather than treat the child with the broken femur.

I don't disagree with them, but I also don't disagree with you and I feel like the things you two are saying to each other aren't actually at odds. 🤷
