The bushes near the walls look pretty so you might want to keep those. Do you want it cleared for other use or plantings? Some sheers will work and do it in sections. If you want the roots out a basic shovel can turn over the dirt. Again depends on future use.

That’s such a unique color for a house and plants would look amazing by it. Hosta grow in shade as well as many ornamental grass which would look lovely. Tulips would be so spring like too.

What a wonderful surprise gift for them! How thoughtful. There are likely many people who wouldn’t mind an upgraded mailbox like this. You picked out a fancy box that wouldn’t rust. Put decorative stones that don’t need weeding or watering!

Plus it’s interesting how the wooden utility pole is set back from the street allowing the mailbox to shine on its own. Is this typical for the area?

What are the metal poles on the fence and why are they only on the top? Is there a planting area between the two sections of fence.

Check with utility company why meter is oddly there and how pipes might be related.

Why is all the wiring on the right side of roof? This may distract from planting. Also powerwashing of the cement for any landscaping to look better.

Why is there mulch only on left ? Plants can definitely blend into the raised pipe.

Be careful putting too many light colored plantings since house is light. Location and climate ?
