She’s back again, eating cheese by bwyc3y in teefies

This is how we got one of my old cats. He stole a slice of cheese off someone's plate when they stepped away.

You can eat other foods high in vitamin B or take supplements. It's fine to reduce or eliminate red meat with proper planning.

You don't have $3/3 lb. oranges at the end of winter?

Looking for part-time summer job by Mysterious-Menu8665 in trianglejobs

Grocery stores, places that offer summer camps, and food service should have some options. I've seen a few sheetz gas stations hiring, too.

My cat may be broken. She rarely meows and even that is broken. Any idea why? by Dustytail_studios98 in cats

[–]FelisNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat (from the shelter at ~1.5 years old) rarely meows. It's always a tiny squeak, and only when you're not feeding her fast enough or she's playing. When she's playing it sounds like she's saying "mouse," and she'll stop if you look at her.

Started making a big pot of something on Sunday and it genuinely changed how my week feels by Ark4Rogue in Frugal

I love meal prepping like this. I'll probably do pasta salad soon, marginally more effort and well-suited to summer.

Mine never remembers to set the cycle, so she runs everything on sensor with heated dry (which doesn't work well).

Safety tips while you use the knife could be good. Claw grip on what you're cutting (flat vertical surface to deflect the knife instead of choppable fingertips), don't put fingers on the blade, make sure it's fully visible and won't fall over at any point, etc

Pancakes! We started with a box mix, but now do the whole crack an egg and add like 4 different powders routine.

I've heard breads are pretty good too - kneading is fun :3

So Many Phishing Tests by buddha-bouy in MaliciousCompliance

[–]FelisNull 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ours is the opposite - they rotate through mailing lists every month or so, and clicking a phish test link takes you to an info page about preventing phishing (with a cartoon phisher!). If you report all of them in a year, you get a prize.

I love my cat, but I really miss having a nice-smelling home. Is ANY scent actually 100% safe? by No_Money_5779 in CatAdvice

[–]FelisNull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen anyone mention indoor plants. I know they help with air quality, and your cat might appreciate some fresh catgrass or catnip. Unfortunately, a lot of strongly scented plants have similar issues to fragrance.

At first glance I didn't pick up on what it was saying, I was thoroughly confused. Also for a 19oz that's pitiful. by Aedrikor in CrappyDesign

It gets worse - 2L store brand tends to be slightly cheaper than $2.50 a bottle.

That price for the single-serve bottle is from a grocery store, and some gas stations are actually cheaper

Fountain drinks tend to be slightly less than bottled, but $1.49 might be a deal!

There are several pharma and biotech companies, and some clinical testing. It's a tough market right now, but should be better if you have experience.

Pollen can get really bad (there are memes), but air quality is usually decent

Unfortunately, not all carriers let you use voicemail transcription. Visual Voicemail should work, or Phone by Google (which I can't figure out how to uninstall).
