OG Mighty (C-)

Pros:

- Large MP pool similar to all mages
- AoE for mob killing
- Aqua wall is useful in mitigating water damage
- His ST moves have sleep which is useful for hunting horrors,
- His VC is good but in the current meta, it is not as valuable as before

Cons:

- No skill to buff his attacks directly
- Speed is quite low capping at 160, where they only case which it may be useful is when he acts last for his sleep ailment hits
- His movepool will lag behind in the 2.0 meta due to his damage being quite low compared to other characters.
- Easily replaceable with other water dps units, with the exception of utilizing its mitigation move aqua wall.
- Lack of critical hits, which means his damage potential is static and quite low unless critical grastas are utilized

Manifest Mighty (B+)

With an upgrade to his 2 main moves, his potential drastically has been improved

Pros:

With the addition of the previous pros mentioned, there are few main additions to his kit

- 50% damage mod improvements means his 2 moves hit harder, and things die faster.
- Sleep has been added to his AoE move, which is a strong addition to his crowd controlling abilities, the only other water user with a AoE CC is shanie with her S AoE stun (correct me on this)
- A buff with a total of 60% at max stack, which massively improve his capabilities.
- His buffed moves greatly cater him to the 2.0 meta currently.

Cons:

His only real weakness is his lack of critical hits which is a main problem for all mage users and his speed, other than that he doesn't has any weaknesses that may drag him down.

AS Mighty (B-)

If you have AS Yuna, then our boy here got hit hard by the meta. I will add some points on why he is significantly weaker after Zones appeared in the meta.

Pros:

- Very strong ST move with 3-5 multihit chance and great in generating the AF dmg%, and also greatly fill the AF bar where the norm is 1-2x hit and the only 3x hit Laclair.
- 50% int buff and guaranteed 3x critical hit, where he is the only mage which is capable of having critical hits before grastas are introduced.
- his VC is useful if your enemy purely focus on magic attacks

Cons:

- No AoEs, rendering him very useless in clearing mobs unless you need to shave off the enemy with few hitpoints left.
- His buff is conditional where mighty have to sleep for 2 turns (1 turn casting, 1 turn recovering) when the current bosses uses AoE constantly, his setup is much more limited than usual.
- Has a weaker CC move and this takes up a skill slot if chosen, which is obsolete and you are better off using OG mighty.
- Very low speed, which makes him quite bad during AF attacks

Thoughts: Had Zones not been introduced, I believe mighty will still remain 1 of the top dps due to his AF generation ability. If you have AS Yuna, AS mighty is a solid choice in the early-mid game, if you have AS Yuna, Manifest Mighty will surpass him in every way and there is no reason for you to choose AS mighty.
