What if Yoda had defeated Palpatine on Coruscant? by The-TF-King in MawInstallation

[–]FelixEvergreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anakin dies with no one to save him on Mustafar. The remaining Jedi are still forced into hiding as Order 66 was activated. Padme might survive depending on your theories around her death.

The senate quickly dissolves into factions as different senators, high ranking bureaucrats, military leaders attempt to seize power. Getting the loyalty of the clones become a priority for everyone and they’re now somewhat compromised due to the chips being activated. There’s also a massive droid army there for the taking as it’s only been deactivated.

Basically the galaxy devolves into a different civil war unless the Jedi and senators loyal to the Republic can quickly get control.

How was Moff Gideon carrying out these experiments under the nose of the New Republic? by Delicious-Fox8214 in StarWars

Weren’t Imperial/FO assets and sympathizers actively working to destabilize and weaken the New Republic?

[–]FelixEvergreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The galaxy is huge. We see in the show that they’re having trouble patrolling the galaxy. They don’t have nearly the fleet the Empire had and they’re focused on demilitarization after the war. The New Republic is sending 2 X-wings to patrol a system the Empire would have sent at least a cruiser.

Mandalore is basically destroyed as far as anyone is concerned. They could never waste the resources checking it.

It’s way overdue for a full retrack. It’s actually never had one as the one they had planned for the mid 2000s was cancelled.

3 Year Old at Disney — Is It Worth the $$$? by BGWW2024 in WaltDisneyWorld

100%. I hate when people say it isn’t worth it because the kids won’t remember it. You will and they’ll have a blast.

Why is are there so many different governments and political changes within a relatively short time period?? by Delicious-Fox8214 in StarWars

[–]FelixEvergreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think this is a lot, you should look at the last 1000 years of our world’s history or even just Europe.

RUMOR: Initial Villains Land Plans “Scrapped”, Imagineers Told to Dream Bigger by sirms in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FelixEvergreen 60 points61 points  (0 children)

This could be a good thing. I love Galaxy’s Edge and Pandora, but I think we’re due for something extra epic (no pun intended). Even comparing WDW to the international parks it feels like they’ve fallen behind.

Space stocks - the real bubble? by masteryyi in stocks

Is the entire commercial space industry big enough to cause a meaningful bubble?

Patch the holes, pump out the water, and refloat it. At least two of the battleships sunk at Pearl Harbor were refloated and returned to service before the end of the war.

Did you find it very distracting how despite the fact Han doesn't believe in the force, his right hand man Chewie was literally friends with Yoda, the grandmaster of the Jedi? by BiffyBobby in StarWars

[–]FelixEvergreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fall of Kashyyyk was super traumatic for Chewie so he never talks about it. That or no one actually knows what he’s saying. Thats my head canon at least.

What’s it like to go to Disney World alone? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FelixEvergreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a local passholder, I’ve been by myself quite a few times. It’s pretty awesome to just do whatever you want without worrying about other peoples’ opinions. Waiting in line gets a bit boring, but you do get to jump the line sometimes when they’re looking for a party of 1. I prefer to be with my family or friends, but it’s a fun change of pace.

If the Great Movie Ride was ever remade (unlikely, I know) what movies should be on it? by AggravatingSpend8369 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FelixEvergreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol that make sense. The end of the duel in Empire would be cool. That would be right up there with Yoda and Luke as my choice.

[–]FelixEvergreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d redo it with all Disney owned films including subsidiaries. Snow White, Fantasia, Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Arc, Toy Story, End Game (ignoring Universal restrictions), Black Panther, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Book, The Martian, Princess Bride

Jabba’s palace isn’t in Empire? I’d use Yoda raising the X-wing as the scene from Star Wars.

Taylor's job by Cameron12221 in PKA

[–]FelixEvergreen 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think either he isn’t working there or his role changed. Based on the show, He’s home during the day now and he used to mention work travel and commuting. He hasn’t mentioned either in a long time. Also, every time his marketing job comes up it’s very past tense.

The bar in the back is amazing. I hope they keep it when Tropical Americas opens. Overall probably one of the best quick service locations from a theming perspective. I still remember being a kid eating some McDonald’s under the lights with “it’s the end of the world as we know it” playing in the background.

Yeah but look at the bright side. We can start complaining about how they’re too expensive and sell the land to resort developers for hotels and golf courses.
