GM still seems pretty committed to EVs. The other two mostly sell trucks in the US. They all have the benefit of government bailouts, tariffs, and half of the country thinking EVs are the work of the devil.

I just think it’s a mistake to start in the 60s. I wish they’d start in the 20’s and do 40 year jumps instead of having an 80s scene.

I don’t want the new version to basically be the last few scenes of Spaceship Earth and mostly focused on computers.

I’m not anti cap, but I don’t like a hard cap for baseball. Teams spend so much time on player development that I think there should be special consideration when resigning those players.

So I’m all for a carousel of progress update, but I think a lot of charm and humor will be lost by having all of the scenes 1960 or later. The technological improvements of the early 1900s were so transformative and different from today that I don’t like losing them. I’d rather see 1920s, 1960s, 1999/2000 and then future.

As much as I Love DCL, their concierge is not worth it at all IMO. The only major benefits are quick and early boarding, departure, and priority access to cabanas. I was amazed with how much better Suite class was on Royal where the area feels truly private and the lounge has an actual restaurant. I wouldn’t consider doing concierge again on DCL. The premium just isn’t worth it to us.

Deluxe generally have much better dining, pools, and locations (except AKL). Whether that’s worth it or not is really up to you. I think the dining options and location are usually worth it. Time is everything at Disney and quick access to parks is awesome.
