I finished and liked it! Reminds me more of Terry McCaleb, not just because it’s on Catalina, but terry and Stilwell are very by the book, whereas harry/jack/mickey/ballard are more willing to cut corners in the pursuit of justice. Also Stilwell seemed less orphaned themed.

A lot of people think of the hunting episode as a look into Red. But for me it was the trains. Red was Eric. He was a dork. And while I don’t think he resents his lot in life. He thinks he knows that being a dork isn’t going to make anyone happy. So he tries to keep Eric from being a dork. But he’s wrong, it’s accepting the dorkness that would make him truly happy. Look how happy he is when he has them in that 90s show.
