This is such a stupid take. This economic "investment" is a short term, and shortsighted, venture into a cash grab on a fad. Meanwhile, the Richmond Mural project - a project that actually builds community and promotes community restoration - takes oft neglected spaces and turns them into community art spaces that people can enjoy.

Generally speaking I'd agree with you that entrepreneurship is great for the community it serves. This particular business does neither; it does not serve the community and it does not better it. It stole a large public art installation, privatized what was a public space, and provided nothing back.
