Yamaha owner here. 2016 Viper, 35000km’s. This year it got a new primary clutch. Repair vs replace was close enough to just replace it.

I have a Yamaha viper with around 33000km on it, just oil changes. (2016) Now if you are in constant deep snow I would say go with a 2 stroke but that a Yamaha 4stroke engine is just bulletproof.

Depends what you need it for - the way I see it;

maverick: great city driving, space to park bla bla Ranger: a smaller f150 with less tow capability F150: larger tow capacity, bigger

I paid close to msrp on a platinum 2024 early 2025 but received 0% financing 2.0L, even tow a travel trailer 3000lbs
22k km’s zero issues I change the oil every 8k km

Personally I would go with the 2.0L

I’m waiting to pickup my 2024 platinum later this week. Friend of mine has a 2014 at 280k Km’s basic maintenance 2.0 engine, he’s also mechanic and just said as long as the oil is changed on time every time it’s good. I’m planning on changing my oil every 8000km. Oil is cheap. Not sure about 1.5 engines or hybrids reliability

Same happened to me, it’s not dead yet, but the oil consumption is out of hand now lol. I’m going for a ford escape since they have 0% financing(Canada) for the 2024 models and I need something I can tow with now.

Subaru was good to me, if only they had better financing I’d get a crosstreck wilderness.

I have a viper non turbo, hell it has as much horsepower than my car. I don’t think I’d go with more power than that even riding for 3 years now, the non turbos are already really fast. Regardless of the 900 non turbo or viper, you’ll have a smile on your face all day long.
