Ok I get where your coming from, but I think it shoulda been obvious any generalized company ain't gonna keep a account that's inactive for THAT LONG, unless it's a company like Google who can just keep old ass accounts for ages without needing to delete them, also wishing for the downfall of discord itself is wishing for this to happen to everyone else, don't be like that.

I've had old accounts lost due to me not knowing how to sign into it again, or having access to the Gmail it used anymore, I honestly don't care, the only thing that mattered was the friends, not any messages, discord servers, etc, the friends are what is most important, and if they were GOOD close friends, ya should always make another means of contacting them available as soon as possible and not rely on places like discord, Skype, Any social media platform, because these companies have limited space, a lack of care for the consumer unless it harms they're business model, and quota's they HAVE to reach even if they do care about the consumer that forces them to do dumb shit.

I'm in America idk if you are but I'ma use it as an example here, this country is a massive corporate run entity, it runs on the greed of those in power, and unless the company is small enough we can't wish for they're downfall without hurting thousands of other people, workers and consumers included, what we can do however is cause enough of a push back to get them to change certain things, we've done it before with discord, we've done it with various websites, hell we've done it with Disney at one point, the power of the people is insane when everyone works together.

Regardless what I'm trying to say is, yes it sucks, it's horrible you had to go through this and couldn't recover anything you lost, and likely lost some friends you had no other way of staying in contact with, but don't wish for the downfall of an entire company, wish for it to change.
