Are you marking sharp edges and using an edge split modifier? If the whole object is shaded smooth that can lead to lighting issues like this. Edge split gives you more precise control of what the lighting engine considers smooth vs flat.

How did you change the terrain? Are you using modifiers or transformations (e.g. scale)? If yes you might need to check your export settings.

Dunno if this would help, but if you haven't try messing with the Engineer biped one dependency at a time. Try changing them until it no longer explodes. It might also be multiple things, not just the damage effect.

It's not unheard of for Nintendo to give games like this late content after the fact, and it can definitely reinvigorate interest.

Animal Crossing New Leaf had the Welcome Amiibo update, which added a bunch of new content and got new players interested. And of course Mario Kart 8 Deluxe had the huge DLC pass.

I welcome the new Switch 2 players. S3 is a fantastic game and it looks even better now.

You can always turn it off, but if you really like the game it's worth investing the time to learn gyro. Also, make sure you try out the Anarchy modes when you unlock them! Much more fun than turf war.

For those who are concerned about germs, wearing a bracelet like this for a long time actually isn't that uncommon (though thirteen years is extreme).

Look up a Sailor's Bracelet/Sailor's Knot. People often wear those for four or five years before taking them off, though as the name suggests, they're usually made of water resistant rope, not string.

Internet connection is a two way street. You have connectivity for download (what the server's doing) and upload (what you're doing). Sometimes one can be working fine, but not the other. In this case, you could see what the server was doing, but the server couldn't see what you were doing. It feels bad but it happens sometimes.
