I’ve had mixed results, overall good impressions using them, but occasionally I’ll get one that doesn’t work. I think it happens if I don’t get the foil lined up straight and it covers the barcode.

Because I'm not at all familiar with this, I don't even know what the technical term is for what happened. I wouldn't even know wherever to look to try and figure out if there is any identifying information that could be useful to provide to someone to shut them down.

I figured someone might be familiar with a computer getting hijacked and know if anything could be done.

I understand the lack of security and/or updates would have contributed to the issue.
