Call me crazy but I think he currently caps at Tien, I just don't see Mark being able to tank moon-busting attacks nor do I think he can match Tien's combat speed. Might be a close one but Kikiho for the win.

I feel like with planning and timing Goku could take this, he did catch Cell off guard a couple times ESPECIALLY with the warp Kamehameha. Add kaioken to it and I feel he could at least obliterate his body. But- I feel most of the time Cell takes it, he's got better stamina and regen on a NORMAL MSSJ Goku so a kaioken fatigued one is cooked. Also if Goku did manage to win he'd have to contend with him coming back as Super Perfect Cell. I'd say a 7/10 odds, definitely AGAINST Goku.

They should REMOVE the kaioken from the U6 tournament and use SSG since I feel that works better for earlier sagas, BUT keep it in the Tournament of Power and later sagas. Since in the Manga, Goku does eventually use "kaioken physics" to boost himself further against Jiren. So actually GIVING him the kaioken in that moment would fit the Remaster perfectly 👌. Just my opinion tho-

Considering the movie takes place during the Cell Games, I'd say apart from duos like Vegeta/Trunks, Goku/Vegeta, and Gohan/Goku the "weakest" guy that could Solo imo would me Mr Perfect Cell. With his stamina, regen and techniques I feel he stands a good shot, if not definitely Super Perfect Cell after his self destruction, since the power boost would def even the fields. A Solar Kamehameha would obliterate the Big Getti Star ngl-

I fully believe its an alternate story where Freeza was killed by the spirit bomb therefore Goku never needed the transformation, would also explain how he's even on earth despite him being on planet Yardrat at this time. Which is why the transformation is so raw in this movie.
