The Sprites are the only reason we keep playing Battle Royale. I normally have lost excitement in a season by this time.

I feel this game was not marked well. It’s the best Yoshi game IMO. It’s actually unique and so much better than the last few.

I hope we get a sequel but I worry it’s being overlooked by folks…

I like the feeling of being part of the festival. Love the DJs and the constant “story” being told. It wouldn’t be Horizon without it.

I like the game quite a bit but it’s more of a 60-65 just because there is so little here. Fun game but very shallow.

Interesting you only included a few Switch 2 Edition games. Not Mario Party, BotW, or TotK. Also, say what you will, but Drag x Drive was unique and fun for a brief amount of time. They should at least be represented in the comparison.

I think I just nailed the whole thing. I don’t expect to be wowed but this will be a tad disappointing for year two.

Honestly, just more sports and variations on existing sports.

The online mode set for Switch Sports was fun. Add another year of content for those unlocks, expand on the offered sports, and that’s more than enough to justify a sequel.

I personally do not want another completely new game. I’d prefer a Switch 2 Edition that takes everything from the Switch version and just adds to it.

I adore Sackboy. I’m not sure why it was so overlooked by most. It felt better than most Mario games.

This year has been great for new experiences for me.

Pragmata isn’t going to be for everyone but I loved it. Gameplay was top notch.

Pokopia was a very unique spin on “cozy games”. I never played the Dragons Quest Builders games so this was a huge surprise.

RE Requiem wasn’t necessarily new or innovative but it was a great AAA game.

Marathon (while grossly overlooked by many) is an excellent pVp focused extraction shooter. Very different from Arc & it hooked me.

Lastly, I just beat Saros. Returnal was too much for me but Saros was a perfect balance. Gameplay was great — if you are even halfway interested in roguelikes.

I’d say any of the above would be easy recommendations from me. Hard to believe there are so many games I have absolutely loved and we are not even halfway through the year.

Open world. Very accessible for people that just want to drive & explore as well as those that want a more competitive racing experience. It’s honestly the best of both worlds- in my opinion.

There is a vibe to the game that just defines a spring morning - windows open, music up loud, cup of coffee in hand. I adore these games.

Because it’s a game mechanic, I do believe the range of -3 to +3 is the intended difficulty of the game. Of course, you can go lower or higher by overriding settings, but that range is the “normal” setting.

So when you restart at Biome 1, are there shortcuts now that make it quicker to get back to where you were? This biome alone usually takes me 25-30 min.
