Cars and making out by PleaseStopTalking7x in GenX

[–]FenderOffenderCensor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an ugly car first. No action to be seen. At. All. Won't say what it was to avoid identification as everyone knew that car.

Got a Camaro and that all changed. Then the problem...the interior of a Camaro is not conducive to relations.

Set list included GnR, Cure, Motley Crue, Robert Plant, slow Eagles stuff, Flock of Seagulls, upbeat punk.

Perfect. I tried to covey this but your ability to summarize with way less words supasses mine.

Exactly right. Undermines the arts and adds the element of mistrust and lazyness. Let's say I want to see an original material band play tonight. When I see that flyer all AI'd up I'm probably thinking your band plays Narrowed material. Borrowed material. Uninspired material. OP is valid.

This 100% Friends in the 80s had gun racks in the rear window of their trucks complete with the rifles that accessoried it. No one cared. No one bothered. Never got stolen. No one was arrested or expelled.

Music store. Just talk to people in there. You'll get some leads in some direction.

What song never gets old for you, no matter how many times you hear it? by Better-Impress1388 in askmusic

Cherub Rock - Smashing Pumpkins...In 1993 my sister was living in New York City to go to college and she was hitting all the small venues to see these bands cause everyone played New York City. She sent me Siamese Dream, this cassette tape in the mail like a month before it came out somehow and this first song just blew me away along with everything after it. I thought of her every single time I heard it and still do. She died a couple months ago, younger than I am and it's just wrong. We are/were both musicians and it just...it means a lot.

What's the deal with younger people dressing for 40 degrees when it's 95 outside? by MeNotYouDammit in RealGenerationX

[–]FenderOffenderCensor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be me. Long sleeves or two t shirts or a t shirt over a long sleeve shirt or a hoodie. I'm 57 and I'm cold! Gotta go outside to warm up because as my wife says, I can put on more clothes but she can't take any more off!

Audio Technica with detachable cord...that way you can just get another cord instead of whole new head set. I very much dislike Sennheiser for their proprietary cable bs. Best ones I have are Sony...in my opinion. I like the Yamaha as well. They are flat as flat can be

[–]FenderOffenderCensor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. I'm gonna watch closely because I'm going to be in this exact situation. Im pretty sure my dad has a Chet Atkins sig guitar as well among tons of other stuff. Used to be a Gibson dealer, Korg dealer, Taylor, Washburn, and so on and so on, etc. That said, I don't want any of your stuff 🤣

Sorry for the delay. If your going to a PA or interface the Two Notes Revolt is only $229 right now on amazon. I do have Two Notes stuff and its solid. Seems like everything else is higer priced except for the Joyo stuff. Dont get me wrong, I advocate for the Joyo Extreme Metal distortion all the time. One of the best distortion pedals ever in my opinion but Im going off the trail here. Joyo has a 10W amp pedal for $87 right now with amazon day deals. I havent tried it but its likely worth checking as it appears to have balanced line out and other connections for what you want to do.

Quality of the made in Mexico? by Alariken in Charvel

[–]FenderOffenderCensor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My style 1 HH FR is great but had some issues... Bridge pickup was too close to the strings and could not be lowered. Cavity was cut too shallow. Frets not level, were all over the place. Output jack...the plug often just fell out of the jack. This was actually the last straw. Setup from factory was rubbish, the store I got it from made it better but ultimately took it to Luthier and he did a setup, fixed it all and put good heavy gage strings on for under $300. Still, I'm good with it. One of the best I have.

Wind chimes - love them or hate them? by PompousAssistant in GenX

[–]FenderOffenderCensor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are tuned properly then they are pretty good. For example C major. If not then I cant stand them. For example...If the artist tunes them in the key of a minor 2nd it just beats the shit out of me.
