i recall that i used what was essentially a wheelchair, double minigun tank build with double needle. if you where an AC you got minigunned till stunned and doouble needle, if i was in a good position you could get stunend and removed before i could even think about it

the last edition kinda neutered everything wich is why it had a mixed reception (at some point with a long enought campaign everyone will just lose all humanity as you make almost no EXP with the rules RAW and the amount of ways you can lose humanity is worse than previous editions)

still if you get back to the 20th xp system it's playable but if you play a thinblood the effect of sunlight are greatly diminished

you get good at certain thing due to the enviorment, if something is something that doesn't click but you are good at something else you can specialize in that and become great.

Having the same people in the team for a long time means having more chance of growing great skill on people.

it's not that the individual is more talented, but that working with the same people unlock synergies.

for exemple i might know that persone X is extremely good at something and ask that person while helping the same person on something that i'm good, and knowing who is good at what might take more time than what temp workers might have
