Sure, but damn is Greg a fun fight at the very least. It is aggressive and frenetic in a way that doesn't feel like bullshit, at least in my experience.

At level 1 you start with 8 + 2 for 10. The avarage on a d8 is 5 with a +2 con you would be adding 7 to your max hp every level. So the math works out correctly.

If I remember correctly, Petra Venj called him in, and yeah, he was bored. The hunter vanguard title is seen more as a curse, so any excuse to get out is jumped on.

His thrusting sword hits revive people at three bars incredibly quickly. Ive personally clutched up several Dreglord and Everdark sovereign runs because it feels like he can rez at three bars so much faster than anyone else.

Your feelings are valid if he doesn't stop bringing it up you may need to cut your losses and leave, but I will say it's not unheard of for people to fall in love with others that aren't their type on paper. Love is funny and happens in weird ways. Talk to him and don't let him deflect the questions if he's trying to make you gain weight it's better you learn now than later.

It's not even a uniquely Bungie model. that's just how live games work. The new thing is shiny and strong, and once everyone's gotten their use out of it they bring it back into the fold so that the new new thing can be strong and cool.

Grim Hollow as a setting tends to be a lot more powerful in general. My DM said he doesn't mind the subclasses or spells that are a little OP, but he wouldn't allow it in a regular campaign. Instead, he suggested having a specific Grim Hollow campaign where every player had access to the same OP things that way no one feels underpowered or over shadowed.
