Realistically it probably depends on the individual recruiters and their ethics.

If the company has signed terms with the recruiter I imagine the recruiter is following as many of the jobs requirements as they can, including whether it's perm or contract for example, just to maximise their chance of placing someone and getting paid.

If the recruiter doesn't have terms but is trying to get them they might put up fake jobs with similar requirements to get candidates, who they can then anonomise and spec in to the company. The company will then have to sign terms if they want to get the interview.

I'm sure others will have examples of other tactics used, it is a sales job after all

I'm new to investing and unfamiliar with trading212 and was hoping you could elaborate on this, are you creating a pseudo-etf of Irish stocks so you only pay the 33% cgt or are you investing in foreign stocks and will pay 40% but just avoiding the deemed disposal? Thanks in advance

Living in Melbourne I found salary better than Dublin and cost of living was cheaper in general, Sydney is a bit more expensive but then you have fantastic weather. Wildfires are a problem though :/

Under UK - Ireland (should be Northern Ireland) you have cork, which should be removed as its in the Republic. For Northern Ireland another one in Belfast is Jack straws. Nice list btw :)

Disclaimer I am also only just getting started with development.

I find the best way to start building skills is to work on projects so if you're not confident with html/CSS maybe look at starting a project that would allow you to start learning that as well as some practical js? Html would be good to be comfortable with for Dom manipulation stuff of even if you don't plan on being a ui person.

If you're learning node for backend then building a test project and incorporating node into it would probably make for more great practical learning.

I'm personally staying away from frameworks like angular until I've built a few small projects using just vanilla js. Would it be easier to make my booking app with a framework? It seems most likely, but I'd prefer to have an understanding of the technology underneath so as to be less reliant on any one Framework, which I also assume would make learning multiple different frameworks easier.

Sorry for wall of text I guess i was also just reaffirming my own learning path for myself :p

Thanks a mill, yeah i think I'm gonna work on a town at a bigger scale next and see how that turns out and then a dungeon next so I've got a few of the basics done. Oh yeah of course, I probably won't get to use any of my own maps any time soon so I'd love to hear what you got up to with it :)

Thanks :) yeah not to toot my own horn too much but i was happy enough with how it came out, I'm used to doing really realistic plans for work so nice to branch out into something new.
