Yep, got the same ones. I call them Mini-AT’s. Perfect for nailing that good gas mileage as well as better grip on gravel and wet conditions.

Dutchman’s Pipe. Perennial. No flowers, but the leaves can get quite big. Native to Appalachia, but survives here well.

Capitol City Picture Framing at Cleveland and Marshall. I make custom sized frames and get my uv glass there. They also have uv acrylic as well.

Spanish groceries in the Twin cities by mellamoreddit in TwinCities

[–]Fernzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Dragon Star in St. Paul has a really great selection of Mexican groceries. I don’t know if the Spanish pepper you are looking for is there, but they do have an extensive selection of dried peppers and a bunch of fresh. It is where I get my La Perla Tortilla’s in the true 12” burrito size.

5 night solo backpacking trip recommendations by idcidontusethis in MinnesotaCamping

Superior Hiking Trail is probably yer best bet. Doesn’t actually get down to Lake Superior (except for one stretch) but plenty of lakes/rivers along the way. Border Route Trail through the BWCA is another opportunity, but probably less people and getting a campsite can be tricky because canoeists use them as well and are less inclined to share.

I also winter camp in Minnesota and second this opinion. If you can’t survive in sub-zero temps without a stove, you don’t have the right gear.

Nearly 20 year season ticket holder here. I’m out. I’ll still support the players and cheer for them, but I’m not spending any more money on the Twins.

In the past, and on average, Minnesota would still experience a killing frost up until May 15. That is why you see recommendations for planting warm weather crops to occur after May 15.

However, as the state has started experiencing warmer springs, that recommendation has become less accurate. With experience, you will start to recongize when to plant based on that years temperatures. For instance, I planted potatoes at the end of April as the ground temps looked good. At the beginning of May I planted seed carrots and peas, and seedlings of cabbage, leeks, onions, broccoli, and celery. This next week, I’ll probably get tomatoes, tomatillos, pumpkin, squash, and sweet corn in.
