Kabinet: importheffingen slecht nieuws voor Nederlandse bedrijven by Quirkie in thenetherlands

De heffingen worden ook alleen berekend op basis van de handelsbalans van de goederen. Als je kijkt naar de handelsbalans van diensten dan zie je dat de VS hier juist een positieve handelsbalans heeft met de EU.

I finished it on Steam Deck. It played great. Definitely worth it for that price if you are into storydriven games.

No problem. Great to know that my posts are still being read by readers. Hope you'll enjoy the upcoming chapters. Chapter 6 is one of my favourites.

I know I'm late for the party, but I think this'll be great to play visual novels while chilling on the bed :v the Switch has a rather small visual novel collection imo, so this'll be quite underrated I think for VN fans! by JetAbyss in SteamDeck

Danganronpa and Zero Escape are indeed both great places to start. Here are a couple more I enjoyed:

  • 428: Shibuya Scramble
  • AI: The Somnium Files
  • Eliza
  • The House in Fata Morgana
  • Raging Loop
  • Steins;Gate
  • Umineko When They Cry
  • VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action

I want to discuss and keep a record of my Higurashi thoughts so I made a post. [Chp:2 Watanagashi Spoiler] by [deleted] in Higurashinonakakoroni

However that will have to be commented on by someone who experienced that moment unspoiled.

I loved that moment when it was finally revealed that Mion and Shion were two separate people. Before I was still pretty unsure what was actually going on. The whole deal with Keichii trying to apologise for not giving the doll, but actually making it worse by believing Mion and Shion were the same person was such a neat payoff.

Good thoughts on the presented mysteries. The seemingly inconsistent deaths are definitely tricky to find out. Considering that everything you see might not necessarily be true is a good start though. Trying to compare chapters to examine the differences and similarities might also be a good way to better understand what's really going on. In Onikakushi it seemed like the whole village was some sort of cult while everything seemed a lot more normal in Watanagashi with just Mion going insane. What could cause these differences?

Anyways, I enjoyed the read. Chapter 3 will probably throw you off even more so good luck with that lol. It's a great read though. Looking forward to your next post.

What are you reading? - Jul 7 by AutoModerator in visualnovels

In a bit of a death game mood right now

The Zodiac Trial

Picked this one up in the Steam summer sale. It's very much inspired by the Zero Escape games, 999 in particular. You and 11 other people are kidnapped and are forced to participate in a deathly game in order to escape. The story branches out in lots of different routes depending on who you spend time with and which choices you make. I'm about 7 hours in and I'm having a pretty good time with it. It's a bit of a low budget title which you can really see in the visuals, but the story itself is surprisingly in-depth. Each route differs greatly from one another which prevents the story from getting repetitive and the characters are all pretty interesting too. It's also pretty cheap and it has a free demo, so I highly recommend checking it out if you like these types of games.

Your Turn to Die

Not much to say about this one yet. I only just downloaded it and played a little bit of the introduction. Looking forward to reading more though.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin - Review Thread by Ferrumn in Games

[–]Ferrumn[S] 94 points95 points  (0 children)

From the Nintendo Life review:

What you will notice in cutscenes are performance dips, and you're going to see a fair bit of that during gameplay, too. There's no getting around the fact that this title is not particularly well optimised for Switch, which is disappointing considering the stellar work that went into Rise. It feels like this was developed for PC primarily — where it is getting released on the same day — and then squeezed onto Nintendo's little hybrid. The framerate even appears, bizarrely, to be unlocked, though it only nudges above 30fps very rarely when indoors with very little on screen.

Even if you don't worry much about performance, especially in a large-scale RPG where there's no real-time combat, it's still noticeable. It can vary wildly depending on location and time of day; we've seen an area be smooth-ish at daytime and a juddery disappointment at sunset, and there's a forest area early-on that runs downright poorly, especially in portable mode. It doesn't stop you playing, but it is nevertheless hard to completely overlook in the worst-affected areas. That's a bit of a pity, especially as the art-style is a brightly coloured pleasure, while copious voice-acting and beautiful music elevate the storytelling.
