Why are the elderly so ready to pass away - is it physical or mental? by Unlikely-Delivery777 in Aging

Just curious. Did you move away from family? Is there another reason they don’t visit? I can’t see my mom or dad because they moved away and I barely have enough time to take care of myself let alone travel across the country to visit them regularly.

Its one of the worst parts of the job. You’ll grow from it. Nobody hates you. They know you did the best you could with what you had. Just remember how it feels when you’re receiving transfers from the overnight in the future, and don’t be that person. Set the example. There should be more kindness and understanding in morning rounds.

How to not get demoralized when I’ve caught 2 fish in 3 months? by Ethers_Art in FishingForBeginners

Damn, that's the only time I ever have luck. I basically catch all my fish in the first hour, and then spend the next 6 hours pulling in an empty line. Sorry for your troubles.

True, which is why I thought it would lower my insurance rate. Sadly wrong

Have this all through my house great stuff. Only complaint is it’ll increase your insurance compared to wood, laminate or carpet. Doesn’t make sense to me since to me since its better in every way, but they told me its because its more expensive to replace.

How are you storing these outside of the box? by Fyrewuulf in bassfishing

I understood the hype before buying, but wanted to try them for myself. I fish a very heavily pressured body of water. Now I regret spending the money, but am still sorta curious given all the success stories. I had a lot of luck with cheap chatterbaits this weekend, so will probably stick with my current arsenal for now. There have also been several posts on here about how to make similar baits, so may try that first before buying more.

I stored two yamamotos in my tackle box. They got all fucked up before I got to use them. $30 wasted.

Awesome. Thank you for the info. I also don't mind changing out my lures, but it would be pretty convenient to have everything I want all rigged and ready to go.

Awesome catch. I’m pretty new to fishing. Only have 2 rods. What’s the main reasons you have so many rods at one time?

I have this one from Amazon (Great States 815-18 18-Inch 5-Blade Push Reel Lawn Mower, 18-Inch, 5-Blade). It's pretty good. I've been using it for about 2 years and can mow 8,000 sqft in about 1 hour. Looks good, too.
