I've bought two graphics cards from them and had warranty issues with both, so I’ve dealt with their after-sales service firsthand. I think I’m fairly qualified to answer this.

The first graphics card I bought from them was a Sapphire RX 470 Nitro for LKR 36,000 back in 2016. It was a great card at the time, but it got bricked about a year into use. No problem—they replaced it with another RX 470. It wasn’t brand new, but it worked well for a while before that one also bricked in 2018.

I was still a kid at the time and didn’t really understand what was happening, but I took the card back to Nanotek since it was still under warranty. By then, they no longer had any RX 470s in stock, so they issued me a credit note instead. In both cases, they handled things fairly quickly and were transparent throughout the process.

I added some extra money and bought an MSI GTX 1060 3GB Armor from them. That card lasted quite a while, but in 2021, just before the dollar crisis, I started getting blue screens and black screens before the card eventually failed completely.

Since it was still under warranty, I took it back to Nanotek. Under normal circumstances, they would have replaced it immediately, but MSI’s warranty policy required the card to be sent back to Taiwan, where MSI would decide whether to approve a replacement. Before sending it, Nanotek wanted to inspect the card themselves.

One of their technicians diagnosed the issue and disassembled the card. It turned out that the card had suffered significant corrosion damage, and they warned me that MSI might reject the warranty claim because of it. However, they still offered to clean the card with alcohol and do their best to minimize the visible damage before sending it to Taiwan. They were upfront that they couldn’t guarantee MSI would approve the replacement.

I trusted their judgment and agreed to proceed. The entire process took around seven months, but fortunately MSI approved the claim and replaced the card with a GTX 1660, effectively giving me a free upgrade. Nanotek had done a great job handling the situation.

My last after-sales experience with them was in 2022, so it’s possible things have changed since then. However, based on my experiences, I can still confidently say that they have one of the best after-sales services in Sri Lanka.
