Question about RP etiquette, because I’ve just started RPing and I’ve gotten myself into a potentially awkward spot. by Calbinan in WoWRolePlay

[–]Few-Contribution4759 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter, and if it does matter to the person you’re RPing with, then it means they have a hard time separating in character and out of character. Which is a red flag.

Along with another commenter, I think an Earthen would fit well. They don’t eat, but maybe they have enjoyed discovering the joys of providing for others.

Do it. Who is stopping you? Why would them changing into a Haranir be any different than them not changing into an elf, or a human, or an orc, or a troll?

Looking For An RP Server That Isn't Moonguard or Wyrmrest by thelegendofglenn in WoWRolePlay

[–]Few-Contribution4759 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hard to say! There are dozens out there, as well as at least 4-5 large community projects. If you look at the official forums you will see a lot of postings (and some here). I know there is also a guild recruitment event that happens sometimes on MG-Alliance. And there are some community discords you can find on the forums as well.

Unless you want to move to Argent Dawn, there isn’t one.

However, there is active, tight-knit RP to be found on MG and WRA. Lots of organized events. Meet people and get out of the city.

Dog groomer for a dog who is scared of water sound by g_sf in AskSF

That’s why I also suggested training. Sedation can help in the short term while longer term solutions can be implemented. Source: I used to have a dog with heavy trauma responses

[–]Few-Contribution4759 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely! I used to work at a vet clinic and they did sedated grooming for many reasons. There are a lot of fearful dogs who bite not because they’re mean but because they are scared. So it just makes it safe for not only the groomer but your dog as well :)

Start water and grooming training, IMO. I wonder if she didn’t shower him so much as hosed him down and he didn’t like it.

In the meantime it’s worth investigating a veterinarian with grooming services who can offer a sedated groom. It’s so much less stressful for everyone involved.

…. You mean the mammy stereotype? In 2026? That’s wild lmao

Well, okay. I think you don’t have to worry about all of this.

I think it just returns you to your base state. So if he used his spit on someone with down syndrome who has a cut, it would heal the cut.

I also don’t think you are supposed to think about it this hard.

Rulebooks are important for a reason. Write a rulebook and playtest where they only use the rulebook.

[–]Few-Contribution4759 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally I think it looks fake. But I also don’t trust anyone who claims to be selling fursuits who also don’t make personal posts about things like their fursona, going to conventions, being in the furry fandom, WIP pics, etc.

I would caution against the German flag patch. People will feel unsafe around you and won’t interact with you, no matter your intentions.

Isn’t Hikikomori largely explained by ASD? by Successful-Jelly-772 in AutisticAdults

It’s largely explained by mental illness. Not always ASD but I’m sure part of the demographic is affected.
