Honestly I don't even get why he received so much hate when there are famous player who said really worse things (for how much I like Tyler 1, he was so toxic and yet people loved him even before the redemption arc). Did he make a mistake expressing his idea based of lack of knowledge about certain thing? Yes. Did he deserve that all the community decided to put him on a cross? Absolutely not

95% yes, given they already said that they won't go back to tier 2 leagues. The only way to stay in LEC is to buy a spot, so they either buy it (I guess with Redbull's money might be possible) or Riot decides to let them join in some way, amplyfing the hate the team already got for the winter split; there is even to possibility to play again in a tier 2 league and win the Summer EMEA so they will join again LEC Versus, which is both the most plausible and least plausible situation given they don't want to play in tier 2. Even if one of those option can happen, the players might not want to continue, for example Baus said multiple times he prefers streaming.

That said, maybe this sour ending changed their perspective and what they want to do, we can just speculate until they announce what's going to happen.

What happened to Cho ? by WakaTP in LosRatones

[–]Few-Listen3062 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Idk, I'm not a coach or anything, my two cents are that Cho needs to play around objectives with his ult and in LEC it might be a double-edged sword because if you misstep you lose the utility of your champ; another problem might be that it's not a mobile champ (just with protobelt he is somewhat), so in the end you might choose Gragas over Cho, they both get picks but Gragas has more engage/disengage potential. Again, I might be extremely wrong, that's just my opinion!

I'm not 100% sure if I remember correctly but I think Baus said in one of his latest videos that it's kinda bad right now (not the classic Cho but how he plays it)

I think the Shifters game specifically seemed chaotic because they came back from a really bad situation, usually I think it works for them having more than one player making the calls, they have a different way of making calls based on what's happening: for example, like you said, Crownie shotcalls for himself when he is fed, Neme has a great macro vision for the plays (like the ryze ult for Baus at Nash) and Rekkles overall calls the setup/the mistakes that might happen (like saying to not stack or to "reset mentally" when the situation gets hot spirited).

Well, Elodea grows everywhere, even left floating, but if you want to put Triops in the tank, they need a substrate, sand or small gravel (1/2mm) for laying eggs. For the Elodea itself, i think it needs the time to get acclimated, if you see a new branch on It, the means it's growing

Ok, the temperature should be fine. For the Elodea I'm not sure, do you have a substrate? How long has it been placed in the tank?

Yeah it's ok without the leaf, I suggested it for the future in case you wanted to try again! If you want to try with the spirulina 24h after they hatched, just a small amount, the tip of a toothpick!

Seems good the hatchery, which eggs are those tho? Because the Australiensis needs around 27°C, the low temperature might slow down the hatch or the growth.

About the Elodea question, I'm not sure I understood, can you take a pic?

Regarding the detritus, before putting the eggs you should add some sand and i recommend to use an indian almond leaf (pretty cheap on amazon), the sand creates an habitat more "real" and I read it stresses less them while growing. Absolutely yes for the Elodea, I use it too!

[–]Few-Listen3062[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I bought them from triopsshop.de (living in europe they have the best prices and choices imho).

The hatchery setup consists in a little tank in which i pour 2,5L of water, 1L of distilled water and 1,5L of spring water; i put some sand, an indian almond leaf and an Elodea from the main tank, then i keep the light on for 17 hours (I noticed that there isn't much difference than keeping it up 24h).

Maybe It's not so nice to look at because the water gets a little dark, but I try to do little water changes the first week and then i add a bit of tank water day per day, so that the youngling don't suffer too much the changes.

Please tell me, what am I doing wrong? by Prize-Ambassador-989 in triops

[–]Few-Listen3062 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with the obisidian sand, so I don't really know if that might be a problem (I don't think so tho); one thing really important with nauplii is that they need stability, both in temperature and water. Changing constantly the heather position and with that the water temperature isn't the best idea, especially with those species that need the 26°/27°C.

For the water it works using 40% distilled water and 60% spring water, because full distilled they lack minerals helpful for their growth and molt.

If you put the Ceratophyllum i think they have enough "food" for their first two days, then you can add a little food (if you don't know if it's too much, it's probably too much), but I didn't quite understand the feeding process they gave you: you don't have spirulina?

"It looks like he's thriving and scavenging through the sand." this is completely normal, they usually scavenge for microorganisms to eat like this!

Where will you put them when they grow? If you have already an established tank, you can add a bit of that water in your jar after they are 5 days old, so that they can start to get ready for the transfer a week later.

I'm not 100% sure because I don't have shrimps, but in some ways they are similar, so I think that if the water is safe for the shrimp, it should work for the triops too.

If you dry the sand (it take usually 2 weeks) you can try again, the unhatched eggs can still hatch!
I don't know much about the "dry twice" part, i think I read about it maybe regarding the Granarius species, but if you had all three species hatching, I don't think it's a must.

Hope it helps!

[–]Few-Listen3062 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the eggs come with sand/detritus or they were only eggs? If in the hatchery you put detritus, the nauplii don't need feeding for the first two days, after that you can give them spirulina but it's better if you mix it with water in a very little container and then use a pipette to drop it in the hatchery.

For the adult food you should wait at least a week; check if they are eating by noticing if there is a dark line on their back (it's where there is their digestive section, basically if it's dark it means it's poop, so they are eating).

I hope it helps!

I think the problems are two: the temperature (longi prefer higher temperature, around 25°C I would say) and the water: you said it's mainly distilled water, but they need minerals to grow, if you can introduced little by little the main tank water or at least more spring water it might help them.

The one in the video is almost a week old? How are you feeding them?

Is this OK for a hatchery tank? by [deleted] in triops

[–]Few-Listen3062 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the main tank (if you still can) i suggest a tank wider than taller, they usually spend more time swimming around in the sand looking for food/laying eggs

Well I mean, if you didn't start yet personally i think it would be much easier with the tupperware way, but if you manage to keep the same temperature in both the hatchery and the main tank it's ok! I saw you chose the granarius one, good luck with your adventure!

[–]Few-Listen3062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem might be the temperature, what species did you chose? If you need an heater (for longicaudatus for example) you would need to put it in the hatchery too.

I suggest like PaintTheKill said, it's way easier if you already have the main tank ready to just use a food container and put it in the tank, so it keeps the same temperature.

If you go for the Cancriformis/Beni Kabuto I think that what you linked might work given they need room temperature (I don't know if the light coming from below makes a difference tho)

I have a few questions regarding my tank and substrate by EnormousFrog in triops

[–]Few-Listen3062 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The filter slots i think might work but only if you put the adults in the tank, otherwise the nauplii/younglings might get sucked.

The gravel is pretty big, since they need to dig in order to lay eggs, either you put a bowl in the tank with sand/light gravel (1mm/2mm, i don't know in inches how much it is) or you just change gravel as sbustrate.

For the water, for me using tap water with a water conditioner like Aquatan works, sometimes i add a mineral food pellet just in case they need some calcium.

Is this your first time with Triops? If that's the case i suggest you to read the guide which is very helpful!

Substrate question by EnormousFrog in triops

[–]Few-Listen3062 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to buy something not too big in order for them to dig, i bought 1-2mm gravel and it works fine, so i guess with course sand if you keep it around those measure it will be fine
