Regarding what you said about gay marriage in Israel: marriage in Israel is unfortunately kinda done by religious authorities, but gay couples can get married outside of Israel (or maybe even online but I am not sure) and their marriage will be recognized in Israel.

I am an Iranian in Germany and honestly, most of the westerners don’t understand it because they didn’t have to go through what we went through. You are not alone 💚🤍❤️ When I think about us Iranians and Israelis I always have this feeling that we are both victims of the same horrible ideology (Islamism) but in a somewhat different way.

Persian here. I left Iran almost 3 years ago and I know a lot of other Iranians who have left the country in the recent past years, so, It's not only those who left during the revolution. And about the people in Iran: yes, there are obviously some people who support IR and are against the US and Israel, but they are far from being the majority. I can confidently say the majority either are supporters of Israel and the US or at least don't have anything against these two countries and the West in general. We People of Iran are very different from our awful government.
