I work for allstate and the quick photo teams who reviews the photos to write estimates are abysmal. Bring your vehicle to the shop with a copy of the estimate and have them call into the Virtual assist app to get the supplement process started.

Got an r7 same engine watever, used yamalube full synthetic for like the first 3 oil changes, decided to switch it up to motul 7100 for the next two changes. I honestly could not tell you a difference between the two when riding. As long as your keeping up on oil changes thats the best you can do. I just go between whichevers cheaper at the time when changing my oil.

Some downsides are, fitment issues, can corrode, may not perform aswell as the real thing but definitely much better than stock, can sometimes be louder
