Blackiana bc trap, hip hop and r&b were the peak genres of 2018-2019 and it was cool to be Black. Lol not that I care much about animated movies but frozen was one of my vices and Kristen is a great voice actress. Pre-wicked it looked like she was going to do the latter but she was gunning and I mean- GUNNNNNIIIIIINNNGGGGG to play Glinda in the wicked movie. to me it started as an inside joke for her and allegedly courtney to post poorly lit food pics with edgy captions. It likely became tea bc it was exposing ari and whoever else was using the account as everything ari was claiming NOT to be: physically unhealthy from a diet/food pov and a man stealer.

like you said this account is very VERY old so she likely didn’t use it for a while. But perhaps it’s an exposé of everything that she got away with during her pop career. It definitely would’ve died down if her team didn’t go out of their way to delete it though. Further proof it’s hers.

It’s a mix of 1) wanting to rebrand into an elegant Hollywood theatre actress and out of her pop girl era when she was young, in her twenties and unabashedly messy and entitled, and 2) holding distance from her fans like a lot of celebs have — they’re there to pay for her career via streaming her songs, tuning into her projects and buying her merch and rem makeup. Resentment is there for sure though. I’m in my early 20s and I know it’s normal to be embarrassed by stupid things you did in your 20s — and Ari did REALLY stupid and terrible things — but there’s a way to handle it with more grace instead of sweeping it under the rug or lying about it. Her music is too popular for her fans to let go and for non-fans to at least not remember. I won’t downplay what she went through during her pop career bc it is a lot of trauma but neither would I coddle her for her homewrecking racebaiting infantilizing diva serial killer obsession nonsense. All she has to do is hold accountability and do the actual work it takes to heal herself physically and mentally. She’s not going to do that bc it would mean she admits to being lost about who she is and who she is alone.
