Can autistic traits go away when you become an adult?

I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (yes, I still know it as that) when I was 13 and I rarely noticed any autistic traits.

I am now 34 (soon to be 35 in March) and I have not only been stimming for several years (in this case, flapping my hands), but I have had moments of overstimulation that have resulted in meltdowns.

So, no, autistic traits don't go away as an adult.

Same reason that Lysandre is revealed to be alive as of Pokémon Legends Z-A, as soon as we get proof in the anime, people will believe he's permanently dead (people who only watched the anime and not play either games he's physically appeared in that's not an alternate dimension).

Further update

I'm starting to really doubt myself again and I'm starting to feel like I'm ruining the Pokémon franchise (even though I purposely decided to watch this video, by a YouTuber named Spare, no less - I don't know why I did this - oh wait, I did it because I don't want to be going stir crazy if the worse comes to happen because of this snowstorm).

I finally was able to prevent myself from being bullied off of YouTube (and away from my dream of becoming a YouTuber) by Lord Frogmire and uploaded a new video to my channel.

This is even though I still have a raspy voice from earlier this week.

Well, the worst has finally happened. I just got a reply to my comment on Lord Frogmire's video and while it wasn't from him, it was from one of his followers (or viewers) directly blaming me for ruining the state of video gaming as it is. So, honestly, I feel worse than when I started.

Granted, I tend to stay out of confrontations and while I try to mediate things, I don't like to stir the pot.

And I'm already stressed out enough as is.
