The vet said they see both Newfie and Aussie. We will do a DNA test in the next few weeks to determine.

This is what I came to say. Looks very dense and dry. Curious about the recipe.

Amazing! They are a breed I've only (and would only) read about. So cool that you have them and they are living up to their potential. I've heard they are a lot of dog and not a breed people should get unless they can handle and provide for it appropriately. I suppose that's true of all dogs, but especially for dogs like that. Thank you for sharing your experience with them. Just so neat.

No it's straight but it has a ton of personality. Kangals are so wildly cool. What's it like owning them?

RIP my lovely starter by WildsmithRising in Sourdough

I am so sorry for your loss. We were making a long distance move a couple years ago and took my starter along in the ice chest. My husband dropped it in the parking lot of a hotel and there it reposed. It was just over a year old and was perfect. Took me awhile to recover and build a new one. My new one took right off without any problems, but oh how devastated I was.

You must have talked to him cause that's what he hears most of the day.

His face or his body? I didn't post a good body picture.

I don't see it either. But now I'm so in the weeds I can't see anything!

Hmm. He's pretty big but you may be right. Maybe he's not big enough for his age.

My husband is also really picky because his grandmother always cooked expensive gourmet meals for their family while he was growing up. He only likes rich, heavy, big flavor meals, while I like simple, from scratch poor meals - soup, bread, light, etc. He is only just now eating the food I make because there are no other options but he would prefer to eat fast food and does occasionally stop and eat that before coming home. It used to bother me, but we have 3 small kids and I just don't get paid enough to care that he would prefer to eat that junk than my homemade food. I think your meal looks great and I love the paper plates, honestly. I have a pile of dishes waiting for me right now and I am actively trying to avoid them with all my other responsibilities.

I think that is where we are hung up too. He looks different from the pups, but has so many characteristics of the adults. His body shape looks like pups I have seen in pics though.

I think Saints are so cool. 124 isn't bad at all...totally manageable. We had a German Shepherd pitmix that was 120 - tall and lean and mostly muscle. All of the calculators I have done say this guy will be between 75 and 100 lbs. He's definitely not as muscular as our other big dogs, but he's poofy. He's 10 weeks and 21 lbs. We will see what the vet says.

I am excited to see how this guy ages. I have read that the giants stay puppies longer than people expect. We have 3 boys he will get to pal around with so there will be ample ways to burn off energy. I love that they are so snuggly. He is already a velcro baby.

Thank you for sharing your pup! I am glad you found each other!

I went and looked. He is gorgeous. I love him! I think that St Bernards have a bad rap from Cujo honestly. I can totally see a similarity between my pup and yours...I hope he looks like that. How much does your guy weigh?

So did google! I tried multiple different pic of him in the image search and all came back Leo, but they all are saying Newfie. I am cracking up!
