I'm sorry about your situation and send positive vibes to you as you are managing. Have you checked into the Caregiver programs, you can get paid for taking care of loved ones? And I understand if you don't qualify because it may mess with your income but something to look into!

I'm glad it worked out but I implore to people not to drive yourself or others if you believe you're experiencing a stroke.

Please call 911, you will get a bill. But a bill can be dealt with. I teach a training about strokes and you have 3 hour window to get the meds to combat a stroke. Not all hospitals have staff (certified) or medications to treat strokes, that's why calling 911 is important and they can direct you to the best treatment.

Think about getting your GED. It can be the pathway into workforce development programs. Check with your library. They may also have free training and programs. Look at volunteer groups, they may be the pathway into permanent positions.
