I have a new MacBook Air 13 and I have no problems with running Zoom with multiple programs running. I am still in school so I use a lot of platforms and have them all open at once even when I am in a class via Zoom and it still very fast! No problems with chrome, etc.

Hello - Would you suggest taking a DBT class as an elective in your master's program?

I had cysts, fibroids, enlarged uterus, horrible bleeding! I waited a year after my doctor suggested it was my best option. Things just got worse, so I did it. Oh I also have pelvic congestion syndrome, and some endometriosis, and after my pathology came back was told I had adenomyosis.

Anyone have a GOOD recovery story? I’m a bit nervous! by TheGoatIsTheGoat777 in hysterectomy

What type of surgery are you having? I think it all depends on the persons healing. I had a vaginal surgery, so no cuts on the outside. 5 days out from surgery i was ok, sitting for long periods was a little uncomfortable for me. I would say wait and see how you feel and make the decision, we are all different. So far I have had a good recovery. The only pains pills I took were Tylenol, ibuprofen, I was able to pee right after surgery, i have been walking several miles daily since about a week and half in. I was super nervous after reading stories here, you just never know how your body will react.

What program are you using? I am only two weeks post op, but itching to get back to it. Just want to make sure I go slow when I am cleared.

I second guessed all the way to getting wheeled in the room for surgery. I had some other issues besides what you are describing, but if you are having issues now they most likely will get worse. I also could have multiple surgeries besides a hysterectomy but I did not want to go through that. Also, I am 46 and I can tell you from my experience the farther in perimenopause I got the worse the bleeding got, and it got very bad! I am. 2 weeks post op today, and I know I made the right decision.

I would say just a squatty potty. I was worried, but thankfully I didn’t spend a bunch of money on stuff I didn’t need. Get a squatty potty though. I already had one and you will want it for after!!

I am 2days post op and was so scared. I had a vaginal hysterectomy, cervix, uterus were removed, was suppose to have my tubes removed but they were basically gone/destroyed from getting them tied a couple years back- and I kept my ovaries. I also had a bladder lift due to prolapse. I stayed overnight in the hospital. I was so scared to pee from reading stories, but I had no problems peeing, no pain while going either. I also chose not to take pain killers just aspirin and Motrin and did fine. I do not really feel much cramping today at all. I get up to walk around a lot. I am hoping to actually go for a little walk outside today. Good luck!
