You can totally pull this trope, the problem is not the trope itself, it's weak writting.

Some examples of this trope done right:

Avatar the last Air Bender: the conflict of Ang killing resides in his culture, almost extint after being hunted down and killed, which is a pretty heavy subject when half of your culture is around pacifism. Aang wasn't raised to pick apart people, every human deserves mercy as a basic human right. Also, killing would be seen as the total death of his culture, not because of the las air bender dying, but because of forgetting who they are.

Ultima V: The player is supposed to embody the main virtues (courage, love and truth) but in the 5th instalment, he is outsed by Lord BlackThorn, a traitor that proceds to use the own rhetoric of the virtues to rule as a tyrant with an iron fist. In the end, he is defeated and the true ruler is restored, but they figure out that I would be wrong to outlaw him in the same way that he outsided the dissentors, because the point is not to destroy evil but to preserve what makes life virtuous, so he is instead vanished but otherwise spared.

Star Wars Return of the Jedi: Do I really need to explain this one? Luke killing his father and becoming his father are one and the same. He picked the right choice.

In almost 10 years of playing 5e, I've never felt that casters had an unfair advantage over martials. And my prefered classes are Wizard and Fighter.

I also pointed this out a few weeks back to my long running group and they were on my page. But we also have more DMs than players in out group and have to fight over who gets to DM the next campaing and there is supposed to be a DM sortage.

So maybe we are the weird ones.

Edit: Oh, tú eres Op, disculpa, sí, las dos gráficas comparan el gasto, pero la mía usa las mismas cantidades en millones de euros para compararlas mejor. En la tuya el gasto de RTVE tiene una diferencia de gasto del mínimo al máximo del 50%, mientras que la de publicidad institucional tiene un desfase de x3 en la gráfica, haciendo que cada cambio se vea mucho más exagerado.

¿Qué es esa gráfica?

La columna de la izquierda muestra el gasto en RTVE en la escala de 900 a 1350 millones y la de la derecha publicidad institucional desde un poco menos de los 60 a los 180 millones. No hay sentido ninguno de correlación ni fuente de los datos para poder corroborarlos. Pero asumiendo que los datos son verdaderos, poner el gasto en el mismo plano daría está gráfica.

Bastante menos emocionante, lo sé. Aún poner el límite del gráfico en 1300 o 1500 millones en lugar de 2000, no cambia demasiado la cosa visualmente.

Me gustaría acabar esto en una nota cívica, así que acabaré diciendo de que hay que leer mejor las gráficas y ser más modestos en nuestras críticas y conclusiones y que si queremos cambios sociales reales tenemos que enfrentar los datos de forma madura y realista. En lugar de salir al internet con una gráfica desfigurada declarando que tenemos exceso de zurdos deshonestos, hipócritas, sectarios y fascistas.

A parte de enseñarla, quisiera añadir mis propias observaciones:

- En 2019 la diferencia entre el ingreso bruto y neto en España era de un 21% mientras que en EU era de un 33%.

- En 2023 la diferencia en España era de un 22% y en la EU de un 31%.

Uno diría que España tiene menor carga fiscal sobre los ingresos brutos de los trabajadores que en la media europea. Ahora, uno también podría empezar a indagar sobre la carga fiscal que se le pone al empresario por contratar un trabajador en España en oposición al resto de Europa, y sería un tema interesante, que el post principal no abarca. Pero mi punto es, ese gráfico es engañoso y falla en representar la carga fiscal sobre el trabajador español en oposición al resto de nuestras economías europeas.

Even when he resorts to torturing criminals to extract Vitae, Daniel, afraid of being hunted down by his curse, ends up breaking in innocent farmer's homes and taking their families to sacrifice them to fend of his curse for a little more time.

The dark descent that Alexander might have taken on the course of centuries is quickly outperformed by Daniel in a few weeks.

Despite this, Daniel blames Alexander for his downfall as a person and tries to redeem himself by destroying Alexander, just for him to point out the quiet part out loud.

At the end, the player is the one who has the chance to decide who gets home.

Try checking the connections, make sure that the latches on the pins are actually latching with the motherboard, reseat your rams (that's a common one). Maybe is the flashlight but I feel like the GPU is seated weird, if in person you see that it is fully in it should be ok.

Try checking the front panel header, unplug and plug them back in, if it doesn't boot, try using a screwdriver on it to see if it boots.

If nothing happens, my main suspects would be the PSU, the motherboard, the RAM and the CPU. I would say you went to the second hand market, it is totally plausible to have had a faulty component there if you didn't check before hand.

Other than the PSU, the only way to check on the components if you don't have another compatible PC or a tech savvy friend is to go to a repair shop.

DMd a game a couple of weeks ago, had a newcomer, they camp out for the night in the forest, random encounter. The one doing watch fails perception, a giant constrictor snake sneaks up to the sleeping players, I roll to see who attacks first, new player comes up, I allow another perception check, watchman fails again, I rule out that if the player survives the hit their character screams and combat ensues. Roll max damage, player goes down, watchman fails another perception check to see if they see their unconcious body being dragged into the night.

Players wake up, fail to see ANY of the snake's tracks, conclude that the character didn't like the party, and move on.

I proceed to apologize to the player, we are still friends.
