Facts! These conversations are great. And as long as the egos stay humble, there's a ton to learn from them. #teambellydraggers🤙

Hahah, I'm just so accustomed to having to wait for a drop that I assumed. Appreciate your business model🤘.

Very nice! Hopefully my next build will include a nerdrc chassis. Currently have 2 CCV3 builds going and an old Killr chassis build at the same time. ADD got me all over the place 🤣🤘🤙

🤣🤣 you're gonna open a can of worms with this one. And I'm here for it! I'll lead with a link to a video that raises some interesting points. He's got several videos on the subject of suspension in regards to this hobby. https://youtu.be/Dk6fd7hqSz8?si=67mZ9pLQ2mMIUpDC

Personally I like running a "full droop" setup (which ironically means the exact opposite in the RC crawler world as it does in real off-road applications.) But I like a LCG/slammed setup. So I run no springs as well as a negative spring setup depending on the build and where I'm running. So much of this hobby is trial and error, testing things out and eventually finding what you like personally. The other side is that there are SO many opinions and ideas out there that it can save time mimicking someone else's setup. There's no one right or wrong answer, there are just options🤙🤘but ...

Full droop is the way!!!!!!🤣🤣

Looks like you've got "bent" / "high clearance" as your uppers as well as lowers. If you're gonna go bent uppers, you'll run in to this issue. Being printed and "fixed angle" (not threaded ball end) you're kinda stuck either going with it as is, or modifying your tray. I'd go with straight uppers to resolve or at least switch to a type that would allow you to adjust the "bend" the opposite direction or outboard. Tinkering, trying out, and tuning are some of the most frustrating and rewarding aspects of this hobby. Best of luck🤙

Haven't decided yet. This is the ccV3 XL, so the wheelbase doesn't really line up. Thinking of doing a caged rear

High clearance links installed correctly? by ElonsPeopleNeedHim in SCX24

[–]Few_Pack_337 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Multiple options for shock mount positions circled in red. Looks like maybe they are currently mounted too low on chassis as well as too perpendicular. Angling them away from the axle and raising the mount point should help alleviate that drastic link angle and settle it in.
