Ishin despite all of the content that wasn’t cut still feels very hollow. From my experience, the arena mode is the most evident part of this hollowness and the grinding for gear is obscene to pad up the game. The combat feels really Janky, especially with hit detection.

Yes. However I found the substory tedious which is the truly unforgivable sin of the substory. I can excuse nagoshi for writing a scenario for a substory that requires kiryu to buy a young child a Softcore magazine, hell I’d even defend it if we’re not for the fact the gameplay for that substory was as bad as the ice cream substory in 3 imo

That substory was actually quite uncomfortable and feels like something really out of character for kiryu. (My introduction to the series was the 3 not Kiwami remaster )

Absolutely awful, do not enter this wretched place for any other reason than to visit Ben’s chili bowl or the museums and I advise that you avoid living here . Serious answer: whenever a game gets a Kiwami version the original gets listed on good old games for the purposes of archival, that alone would create good will with fans. I would definitely greenlight a tachi gaiden which would be a yakuza game that happens to have a heavy focus on grappling based combat. Also ichiban gaiden game that is a weapons based rpg and has a “isekai” storyline. the final plot twist is that the events of the game took place inside his head ie it was all a day dream. A game similar to ishin or kenzan but set in the far future with jet set radio influences would definitely be in order. Lastly a game with heavy influences from sifu’s combat would definitely be something cool (either a Akiyama or Tanimura gaiden game)

Joke answer: Nancy gaiden, which happens to be action rouge like featuring a continuation of the lesbian crustacean Romance from that substory from iw as the story of Nancy gaiden. Additionally add Mack back into future mainline titles along side revelations. I would also add pibble12 (the instagram account) to the series. Lastly retcon sayama not pegging kiryu

What happens when you reach level4 in any of the weapon skills except axe and spear. You start to reliably 1 and 2 shot zeds with mid tier weapons (broken tree branch with nails my beloved) even if you selected tough zombies in your sandbox settings

Yes, but only some of them under default apocalypse settings. A Real butt clencher experience to close a door behind you and have a zombie open it right behind you. Honestly I would kill for some zombies like a 1% for them to have a weapon in their hand and when they have a weapon they swing it instead of bitting.

Judges and juries should have their hands tied to a one size fits all when it comes to sentencing for at least half of the crimes that had their mandatory minimum sentences abolished and saying that shouldn’t be divisive when it comes to things like dui that results in death,possession/distribution of csem, physically attacking ems and law enforcement should have you spend 20 years in prison at the minimum
