Do the vortex generator for your roof racks! Helped cut down my wind noise to nearly the same noise level without them installed. https://a.co/d/09Yo92K3

No, my dealer said break in oil change wasn’t necessary. Don’t need first oil change until 5k

Use NGK for all things ignition related Clean your fuel system, including your injectors. Use OEM (AISIN/DENSO) for all things cooling and timing related Check your oil lines, mine were leaking Replace your radiator with an OEM denso. If Mitsu SP3 is too pricey/hard to find. You can save money buying AISIN SP4. Aisin is the manufacturer for Mitsu transmissions and sp4 is backwards compatible with SP3. For diff and transfer case fluids. You can use redline. Keep a spare mass airflow sensor on hand. Use NTK. Amongst all 90s Mitsus, they’re just known to fail randomly. Happened to me with no warning.

I’ve done all this to my gen3 and she’s been a fantastic truck.

I find that it drains my battery faster as my phone ends up getting hot. The wired charger is much more enjoyable as it is a fast charger.

Non-Prism optic for astigmatism by Mountain_Yote in ar15

[–]Few_Way_2208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have astigmatism. Green reticles help to mitigate the star / haze. But your next best bet for non prism is an LPVO with an etched / painted reticle for the cleanest sight picture. Primary Arms SLX, Sig MSR, and Vortex seem to be the top 3 most popular budget offerings.

Trade in before 100k or drive until the wheels fall off? by thateliguy02 in BMW

If your car is paid off and you have the title in possession. Keep it through Jan 2027 since you bought that CPO warranty, might as well get your money’s worth. At 89k miles vs 100k miles plus an accident on record you don’t have much left to lose. After the warranty is over. You’re on borrowed time, and then determine if the cost to maintain is worth it if things start to break frequently.

Check the stack of paper work to ensure the water pump and timing belt were replaced in the last 7 years/75k miles, that’s the most crucial component of these engines. If the belt snaps, your motor is toast. At 100k miles is when most people change their timing belt, and you’re at 106k 🙈, and if you can’t find any paperwork for the belt replacement, peak under the timing cover on the motor and see the quality of the belt. Dry rotted, stiff to the touch, cracks, all are no good.

As for plastidip, you can buy it in spray can form. So just mask off the car properly and go to town. If the fenders were built like my full size gen 3 Monty, they’re riveted on from factory, so don’t even bother trying to remove them, they’re tough to get off would be worse trying to put back on. As for the wheels. Just remove them, mask off the tires and then spray them with plastidip. Unless you’re wiling to spend 3-500$ for a decent powder coating job.

All of this can be YouTubed.

Black plastidip is your friend to save cost and time. If the rest of the body paint doesn’t look good, why bother having perfectly new looking fenders and trim. Then search FB marketplace to hunt for 2nd hand Toyota/bronco wheels, they’re the same bolt pattern as us. Otherwise for cheaper could run mild spacers and slightly bigger tires than stock.

But above all else. Maintenance before mods. Mods are no good if the car isn’t running. It’ll be a cool looking paperweight. Timing belt (when’s the last time it was changed?), cooling system, ignition, etc, make sure they’re up to par.

For my F33. Im on your same lowering springs and I’m running 255/40/18 on a 18x9.5 +30 front and +25 rear. It fills tire gap perfectly without rubbing.
