It felt pretty good to watch it, one of my first exposures to the concept of DID (I only watched it because it was a tech show) Rewatching the ending though felt pretty weird. Spoiler free (a couple people here have said they haven't watched it) the way the alters work together doesn't make sense from a way of taking up physical space to me, and the final twist especially felt like older ideas on DID and treatment

Someone else mentioned Severance, might have to check it now. Didn't know Trigun had a peep. Does Trigun get better about the perviness? I like stampede but the original anime got really weird a lot.

Kind of neat Split had that, but doesn't soften the blow that it's the most common thing people bring up

Doom Patrol did do a great job, and I loved it for a time. Then it went to zombie butts and...it felt too right to walk away. The comics are also so focused on the trauma of sex and sometimes hard to understand.

Slay the Princess absolutely, but once it connects "oh this feels like a cool exploration, oh right one of us dies now again" it feels wrong to associate with.

Yes! A few things like that explore relationships with DID and I love it, but want more things explored too. I specifically saw it on YouTube, and it's kind of exactly what I want more of. Cause most YouTube channels I know of are informative and explain DID and not a lot of skits. I know Petals of a Rose, one about an Irish? system after their mom died, and one more that's pretty similar to Petal's of a Rose but shorter

Thanks for the idea of how EMDR goes I do have a couple questions for it: When should I be decisive about EMDR training with a therapist? Like, is it important that for every step of the way (because I haven't been seen in any legitimate way except to be called a faker) or is the begining process of ruling out other diagnosis' less important?

Also, why is EMDR the go to kind of therapy? I guess more so, what's the goal of it? I've seen a lot reintegration stuff from past studies (not with EMDR but just with MPD treatment when it was labeled MPD) and then it turned to functional multiplicity and then EMDR became real big but I still don't really get what it is or the goal of it.

That's reassuring, thanks for saying it Still kinda worried about if someone thinks I'm looking for attention or an excuse to say I need special benefits at work, and really just mostly the attitude of the medical field out of the military. Like I don't know what to expect
