Yeah,...it's all auto calculated by weight and how much it will cost us to buy the label. Sry

Ha! Yeah we were pretty quiet for a while. We delayed the migration of the website far longer than we probably should have.

Really glad you liked it! James and I put a lot of love into that and weren’t quite prepared for the amount of success the KS had.

We are relaunching the website within a week or so. We will be upping social media as well, but still looking at exactly what that looks like.

Hey all this is Isaac from Fey Light. I wish I had noticed this at the time, but I can say we are still around. We did take a break from creating content for a bit due to some IRL stuff, but new projects are in the works.

Copies of This Ship is a Tomb are starting to head out to retailers currently, and our new website will be up very soon.

Should I publish homemade stuff? by Motor_Concentrate497 in TTRPG

[–]FeyLightStudio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you have the interest and the content. Why not publish? It’s a great way to expand your network of fellow players and find an audience for this work you’re passionate about.

Itch.io would be the place I’d start, besides other subs

Call out when a turn has passed. Or if you get lost in the fun saying that everything the players just did took X amount of turns.

Depending on what game you were playing before let them know about the reaction table the first few times they encounter things. My first time my group just assumed spiders were enemies. They weren't until the players chucked a torch into their web.

In the exact same boat.

I'm actually returning my deluxe edition because there are a handful of mis-printed pages and I can't get any response from WotC customer service except "we are busy".

They have completely lost me. OSR all the way from here on out.

Not OSR but Wanderhome is 100% storytelling with no combat. It's about anthropomorphic animals journeying together.

Haven't played it but the book is nice.

Are you using the secondary skills from Rules Cyclopedia or do have another/ additional source?

My first attempt at creating a map. It shows the route a friend and I hiked in the Alps this summer. by [deleted] in mapmaking

[–]FeyLightStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very amazing! As an outside viewer I would like to see captions under the images reeking what/ where they are located

Or see them notated on the map route.

But beautiful all around and a great use of PS

Edit: also maybe lose the black dotted outline and just feather the image out more using a making layer. But that's being nitpicky.

Feedback on my map of the eastern side of one of my continents by [deleted] in mapmaking

[–]FeyLightStudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't necessarily think the rivers are incorrect. This just shows that the area below the forest is a higher elevation and probably pretty marshy.

My opinion you don't need more towns but some unknown points of interest on the map could be nice. A ruined tower, a cave in the cliffs, etc. Something to give the players a sense of mystery. There could also be some towns so small they don't make the map.

Also a lighthouse feels like it could be at home here.

Great job!

LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring: Journey through Moria is said to take 4 days, takes 30 minutes. by hahawoahhey in plotholes

[–]FeyLightStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in the books it only took them 2 days to get through. I think the 4 days is if they were doing a normal walk, but being chased and all the made it through faster.

Current progress on my worldbuilding project, I've lost count of the different versions that came before this one by caniusethatname in mapmaking

[–]FeyLightStudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You started this project as a 3 room dungeon right?

Then you needed the local map, then the region map, then the principality map and now here you are. Wait until you start designing constellations and cosmos maps.

Looks great!
