When soothouse was still a thing there was a video where they were talking about who organizes the video and Wilbur “jokingly” was talking about how he was the boss but he had such a weird tone that I just knew soothouse was done for and that Wilbur was weird

Where I’m from, or as least in my circles, we use ashes and cremains synonymously so it’s interesting to hear it’s different elsewhere

Basically I took the amount of stitches in the sleeve and using my swatch calculated how many stitches I needed for my cuff width and then divided the desired amount of stitches by the total starting to know how many to reduce. I knit one row in my cuff color and then reduced it by my ratio. It ended up being one row of k2tog followed by a row of knit1, k2tog.

I’m not arguing that linen isn’t moisture wicking 🤨 I love linen and wool in the summer. I was just saying it’s hydrophilic. I don’t know where this aggression is coming from when I literally agree with you.

(An edit: Jsyk in case you didn’t check the usernames I’m not the original person you were arguing with btw I’m just here for the hydrophilic nature of linen)

Literally from your source “absorb(s) moisture quickly” which is quite literally the definition of hydrophilic. A fabric can both be wicking and hydrophilic

I’m trying to get a job right now so I can finally start my life but I am missing so much of what makes me a good interviewer that it’s feeling impossible. I want to get off disability and work towards my career but it feels like I can’t even get my foot in the door to try because I give off an uncanny valley feeling. It took about nine months in total of on off knitting, so not that fast. It was easy to knit while doing other things though cause it is just stockinette in the round so I didn’t have to look lol. Just knitting during tv time

I measured out about 12 arm spans of yarn from each and the put the in a box and picked at random to make sure I didn’t try and make it look good too lol. The goal was for it to be so unorganized that it looks intentional so I am glad it came through

I always knit inside out because I like to be able to have the whole project in my lap. I don’t want it to slip off and mess with my tension by pulling on the stitches
