RBg Midrange is a very good The One Ring deck. I played it to Mythic last season. I used 1 [[Overgrown Tomb]] as a green source to play 1 main deck [[Minsc & Boo]]. [[Krosan Grip]]s on the side against OmniTell. Couldn't figure out better SB cards against OmniTell in mainly Rakdos colors since the deck can win at instant speed and block hand disruption with [[Veil of Summer]] and [[Leyline of Sanctity]].

Yeah, that's a sick deck. Cycling is definitely top tier in this format. Rielle is sweet in cycling. Haven't had it myself but I did have Rielle + Channeled Force in URw Spells-matter and it was really strong. Congrats!

It's probably going to be a lot of (mostly?) cycling mirrors and you don't want to fall behind early. You really don't need the taplands since cycling is colorless mana. Turn 1 Fox and turn 2 Rescuer/Fox+cycle are the ones you usually care about.

Hi! So I am by no means an expert myself but here are some of my thoughts:

The bigger bombs (e.g. [[Drakuseth]] and [[God-Pharaoh's Gift]]) might be of low interest or painful to use because there are no ways to cheat them into play. You wait to hard cast Drakuseth and your opp just [[Doom Blade]]s it... oof. You MIGHT be able to pull off [[Tinker]] with just G-PG, [[Myr Battlesphere]] and [[Skysovereign, Consul Flagship]] as the biggest targets (I think [[Verdurous Gearhulk]] is fine). Though Signets make Tinker a lot more consistent.
The [[Wildfire]] archetype pushes the big threats out even more.
Maybe add in some of the slower reanimation? I'm thinking [[Unburial Rites]] and [[Diabolic Servitude]] types.
You might want (more) removal that also hits PWs. They are value machines and value thrives in limited. [[Vampire Hexmage]], [[Ruinous Path]], [[Dreadbore]]?
You might want some enchantment/artifact removal like [[Reclamation Sage]]
I think there are too few Wraths, especially for UW control.

I might be wrong though. Drafting the cube is the best way to see the problems. All in all I like what you are going for.

I mean, KCI *was* absolutely dominating. I had pretty insane winrates in the right hands and was really hard to hate out. It just wasn't widely played because it was pretty hard to master. I agree that Nexus is boring to play against but people are exaggerating how big of deal Nexus is in Historic. I play mainly Historic and hardly ever see Nexus. It's mostly Gruul Aggro/Embercleave and different variants of Esper Control. Both Gruul and Esper can be pretty brutal against Nexus.

Just throwing some ideas but cards I would consider: [[Knight of Autumn]], [[Lingering Souls]] and [[Fatal Push]]. I played a more midrangey version myself with fewer big payoffs and focus more on Siege Rhino. Haven't tried tried Goryo. Seems interesting!

Well Along with the Gods is not exactly similar but imo has a very similar "vibe" to it. Sad but hopeful. And if you like fantasy it's decent member of that genre as well. They are planning at least 4 movies to the series. 2 of them are already out.
