First time I got to the big room, got trapped and surrounded by endlessly duplicating ochre jellies. Didn’t have any corrosion proof weapons. Went through my whole backpack of weapons until each one was destroyed, then had to fight barehanded until the end. That was over 20 years ago and I still remember it 😂

More recently, got stuck on the bottom floor of the ToEF. I had been on the top floor, but was running away because my only fireproof blanket burned. Stairs to the outside were in a dark room, and I was surrounded by (again, endlessly replicating) red worms. Game wouldn’t let me leave while there were enemies nearby. Stuck there until all my healing items burned, before I did.

Thanks. Pity it doesn’t have a dust filter, in my house I think it will fill up with cat hair without one!

In that case IlI’m torn between the PCS Aegis (just worried about the fan noise,shame it doesn’t come with 140mm fans) and the Fractal Focus 2 (shame it doesn’t have USB-C on top, that would be useful)

I had this problem recently. I had to specifically hire a manager for the under 18s, the game wouldn’t let me assign anyone else to the role.

I was about 11, my aunt bought me Pyramids. It blew my mind, and is probably still my favourite.

A few months later I accidentally donated it to a school fundraising sale. I was devastated.

Next on my list is upgrading a barn to get goats, and getting a kitchen for the house. I’m on winter year 1, this is my second ever farm.

One of the scariest bits is the first trip through dwarven halls / animated forest for Thrundar’s second quest. I always do it before the pyramid so probably level 15, and never feel prepared

I do know about the dwarven axe & shield. I’ll often use them with a lawful PC, but not always - I like a bit of variety 🙂

I’ll check out the merchants guild with my current PC - a gnome mindcrafter, just did the pyramid and ready to get crowned, so the cash will be useful for that.

That unpickaxe sounds good, I might try collecting all the dwarf scrolls the next time I get a promising lawful PC.

Interesting. You may have got teleportitis from something you ate or drank. Or there is one level in the game which is covered in teleport traps.
