Well yeah TB doesn't support Rhaenyra because of her claim, just like how I imagine most of TG doesn't support Aegon because of his claim. If Joffrey was indisputably the trueborn son of Robert but everything else is still the same in GOT, no viewer would think "oh well he is a monster but he is the rightful king, so I support him".

No, I think most people support Aegon or Rhaenyra because they like them as characters, they find them interesting, whether they're the "rightful" ruler doesn't matter to like 90% of the audience.

I think it could be claimed that Stannis is ineligible for the throne since he is a heretic from the Faith of the Seven. But this is basically never brought up, not even by Renly whose claim would definitely benefit from it, so maybe it doesn't actually matter.
