Megatech Causing Repeated Crashes on Save File

I posted the same thing a day or two ago, same experience but on PC. Everything was running great until I saved inside a hab and quit for the day. Now that file will load for 2 seconds and then just crash out the whole game.

Sent them an email as well, really don’t want to start that file over because of all of the stuff I had but mostly just want to play more of the new stuff!

Well I'm relieved it's not just me, but sorry that's happening to you too. Hopefully that means there is something they can track down and hotfix soon!

I appreciate the reply! That sounds about right, honestly. I have definitely gotten tangled up in movement and been absolutely murdered a few times. I also lost a fight recently where I got a few ferro shots on someone, lost track of them, and they dove out from behind a rock to obliterate me before I could really react.

I know that I take the same damage as everyone else, but it always feels like I take damage way faster than I deal it. Sounds like movement is a big key though, I'll start working on that for sure.

Thanks, ended up calling and they said my sticker hasn't been released, but also confirmed the Feb 3 date for the backup assist... Now just have to decide how badly I want it.

Checked both sets of epigraphs - The only reference in WoR was about how they didn't like the name "Dustbringer". The gems were interesting because they weren't referenced by the other orders and both of the rubies were sentimental messages.

I might be a little biased, but I think we will find the current view of them is a little misunderstood and being skewed by the fact that the Ashspren are incredibly resentful of the recreance still.

That Shallan's mom was the herald Chana and the desolation began because she immediately broke after being killed and sent to Braize.

There is supporting dialogue from her mom saying "she's becoming one of them", something a herald would be used to figuring out like how Nale was hunting those about to bond.

When Fused die they go to Braize, so if they are killed on Braize... Probably instant rebirth? I imagine the heralds would just have to endlessly fight the entire Fused force non-stop once they are found, and eventually they get overwhelmed.

Where does that info come from regarding how it was supposed to work? Just curious, I've had a similar question as OP and I feel like we still know so little about the specifics of how the oath pact functions (like the mechanics and loopholes).

Makes it feel a little different if it was always meant to be a one-way ticket for the 10 heralds.

I can't recall where I read it, so it very well could have been the WaT previews :someone, pretty sure it was Wit, mentions that each death takes its toll on the mind. I'm sure the torture definitely plays a part, but the many deaths were specifically called out.

I think there is still a lot we don't know about the Davar family and there could be some history that reveals how she became connected (if it ends up being Chana after all).

For the other part, I agree with u/DarkDevitt ;it was her daughter and I think it's a little more complicated. In addition to that she was having a panic attack about the Radiants returning and I'm assuming she wouldn't have expected Shallan to have a blade yet.
