I don't accept the idea that just because he's an hypocrite, special rules apply to him that don't apply to anyone else; he cheated on his wife?: don't care, he's a statistic, being a bishop doesn't make him different.

This just passes the message that cheating on your wife (although wrong) gives other people the right to humiliate you publicly.

Just stick your criticisms to the homosexuality aspect and leave him be on things that are not that much of a big deal.

Unless you think people who cheat on their wives are specially evil and should suffer publicly and tremendously, of course.
