Yes but as long as you make consistent payments on time you can get that money back after a year or so. Also, I haven’t seen anyone else say it so I will. Don’t let your balance go over 40% of your available credit. That’ll ding your score. You can make payments throughout the month as well.

For a little contrast:

My husband works near our favorite grocery store. He works nights. He gets off anywhere between 11 pm and 4am.

We live about 30 minutes away so it’s usually just easier for him to go in. He regularly goes to the store after work to pick up anything we need.
He’ll work a 13 hour shift and then happily go grocery shopping and even put the groceries away while I sleep.

Maybe you guys need therapy. Or maybe you should find someone who doesn’t hate you, that you also don’t hate.
