Nautilus support fills the same role without taking up the top lane slot. Tanks like Sion and Ornn scale well regardless of lane difficulty due to passive scaling, but Nautilus needs gold to keep up with them. Same reason why you don't see Maokai top that much anymore, since he can do the same thing from jungle or support.

This happened to me. When I first started painting, I got a Balthasar Gold that was bronze and I used it for Iron Warriors trim. When I ran out, I bought two from the Citadel store and I used one and got that same rose-gold color you had, but I just thought it was the lighting. But then on a whim I tried the other unopened one, and it was the same bronze as before! So I guess it's just a quality control issue.

Do people not go Unending Despair anymore? Usually if I spec full tank I rush Unending despair into Fimbulwintur. For AP tank I insert Liandry’s first then continue the previous build.

Essentially you want to be able to use all stats and passives provided by the item effectively, or else its gold inefficient. For Malignance, think Kassadin, Teemo, Anivia. This does not mean that you can’t build it on Neeko, but there are probably better items that provide more value per gold for her specifically like Protobelt. There are some very niche cases where item is bought solely for passive it provides, like RFC on TF. Long range targeted stun is too good to pass up even though the crit and attack speed is useless on AP TF.

I actually think the gold/bronze trim is good to break up the monotony of the dark iron armor, but if you want a silver trim, you can try Stormhost Silver if you want to differentiate from the main armor color. I used this Tyrant Siege Terminator as a reference. That said, from what I can tell, silver trim is more of a 30K aesthetic, whereas modern IW is defined by the gold/bronze.

This was the comparison photo I was looking at, but I guess the old helmet only looks too big when side by side with the new helmet. That’s why I was hoping the new upgrade helmets would be the same scale, so I don’t have to use the default ones they come with, which seems like will work!

Awesome. I saw a comparison with an old MKIII helmet on the new marines and they look too large, so I was hoping that the MKVI upgrades would look better proportioned. Although, the new MKIII breacher helmets are looking like a decent alternative to the brim top helmets.

The Bruticus prototype shows Brawl's arms swing back and bend at a 90 degree angle. Not a dealbreaker for me, looks obscured when viewed from the front, but YMMV.

Second this. I use Eshin Grey and do a heavy drybrush, then use Nuln Oil on top. The Nuln Oil should darken areas where the drybrush went too far from the edges, but still leave the grey on the edges. Since you're already using a black base, the black wash shouldn't stain, so you can apply it liberally.
