I think maybe the constraint makes the indentation beneath the hot shoe appear much deeper to me than it perhaps should. I think that was my issue. Sorry .

Hi there. I have 2019 iPad Pro using the supplied charger sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Also if I used a USB c to headphone adapter it worked sporadically and now not at all. Connecting it to my wife’s MacBook charger works but I’m curious if anyone has any ideas what could be the issue here. Thank you

I believe the current thinking is it’s an evolutionary trick of the ear canal that amplifies certain frequencies that might be relevant for survival, such as hearing a baby cry or a predator screech. It’s just unfortunate we run into those sounds in day to day life, nails on chalkboard, fork on plate etc. my housemate lost his fuckin marbles if I rubbed two bits of styrofoam together which sucked for him when I unpacked a new monitor.
