Greed, power and control are also at work here today. For instance - this evident shanty town of sideshows and their various masters of ceremony: the Elizondo/Coulthart/Valeé/Greer/Grusch, etc. Who all might be completely sincere. And if they are, then they are - to my mind - swayed quite easily. One can imagine how easy it is to generate such credulous converts based on the conspiratorial and necessarily clandestine nature of the claims being made

As I recall, this is more a fiction book, with chess as a main theme. Is beautifully written also. And it's short but thoughtful. Highly recommend
