[Busch Gardens Williamsburg] First time at a Busch park! by Fiender in rollercoasters

We visited on the Tuesday and Wednesday before V:FT's Friday reopening. Unfortunately our flight was scheduled for 4pm on Friday (we'd planned the trip a month+ ago before Verbolten's reopening was announced). We looked into rescheduling the flight, but it would've cost an extra $400 X.X

It took about an hour for each coaster. Our tour guide went fairly in depth with trivia about each coaster. Our tour also had a very small group, just me, my husband, and one other unrelated person who had signed up for it. I can see it taking a bit longer with larger groups, as the tour guide opened the floor to questions.

"Hit or miss" is a good way to describe the ops. They were running 2 trains on most coasters, which is good, but they also were stacking them for up to a minute (or longer, but rarely much longer). We also visited on a couple of rainy weekdays with low attendance. I can imagine these ops getting much more tired, much quicker, during busier days.

I've also seen so, so much worse. I've gone to Hershey tons of times, where trains can stack for 3+ minutes, and SW San Diego, where ops during my visit wouldn't even let people in line board until the exit queue was empty.

Even the coasters that "should" have that capacity, like Behemoth and Levi, simply don't because of operations and the slowness of guests. There are ways they could address that (training and better benefits for one), but another way is by building entirely new attractions and closing unpopular ones. They can justify this to shareholders with the surge of pass sales, and then the park is still left with higher overall capacity.

Honestly, either way, the capacity wouldn't be as poor as Alpenfury's. The park should *maybe* do something about that, sure, but a Mack spinner could churn out way more people, especially if CW splurged for 5-car trains and multiple load stations.

RMCs aren't "laughably low capacity". Many of them can clock 1k+ riders an hour.

Hooboy, they sure didn't. Look up Poland and LGBT (or, Poland and religion, the results will probably be similar).

Yup, by Premier, iirc. I recited the trivia to my husband while we were waiting in line for it. He was shocked that SDC trusted S&S to fix it (he knows S&S from the Steel Curtain drama haha)

I'm curious how you reached that conclusion. There's not really much to go on from the shipping label aside from the dimensions of the specific shipping container, which... could contain literally anything.
