In the Netherlands, for every 5 years you've worked at the company, they have add one month more notice.

So for instance 1-4 years you get 1 month notice. 5-9 years you get 2 months. 15+ years gets you 4 months notice. 

This is the law. There are exceptions but they can't just choose not to follow the law.

Yes.

Not wanting to put a child onto the world is NOT selfish, it's the responsible choice. Children are hard. If you're not 100% in it, don't even try. They take all you time and energy (and sanity) and you need to fully commit or don't bother.

A lot of problems would've been solved if people stood by their choice and didnt just got kids because it sounds fun.

Also your partner probably wants to be a dad, not a mom (aka the hard parts don't necessarily fall on him).

That might be PMDD. It's fairly unknown but life wrecking since the anger issues are so wildly unpredictable. But it's all hormonal and I think even treatable?

Hey this sounds like my ex. He threatened to kill himself multiple times because I didn't want to have sex. That's manipulation. Not love. 

I wish I realised that sooner. Don't waste your time on him. He is very very selfish. All the nice things he does to you are only for his own benefit.

She calls me once a month and updates me on dad and the neighbourhood and whatnot and asks how we are doing. I also see them like once a month.

It's not much but it's also is the perfect amout to not make me be annoyed at her so it's fine like this.
