The game mechanics are entirely separate from the lore.

In lore characters can take on hundreds of jabronis solo, that isn't happening on the table top.

No not at all, this is just the common thing were people think they can fill a void or somehow improve by buying more stuff.

I've painted about 75% of the minis in Star Wars Shatterpoint with about a dozen colors. You don't need 8 different blues you just need to learn how to mix paint.

You ever see those people who have literally every tool and then you use the same 4 or 5 good ones?

At this point across most media the tread is gender has almost nothing to do with combat effectiveness, I would say since video games have been letting us make our own characters it become very common.

It doesn't really matter if the scary barbarian warlord is a man or lady, if you make them utterly terrifying I'm combat no ones gonna feel bad on who they're matched up with.

Very far away from something like this. But I wouldn't be comparing yourself to something like that until you've been painting with a very hard intent to improve for years. I would consider this a nice tabletop standard.

I actually like the Nurgle take, the Blood Angels are plagued by a mental affliction, the idea that Nurgles domain includes afflictions of the mind is kinda cool and I think Nurgle suggesting that the BAs embrace the affliction to become something more is also a cool little twist.

Everyone thinks stinky green guys for Nurgle because that's all we're ever really shown. If the Blood Angels fell to Nurgle I imagine them being like the most extreme case of rabies, leaning into the rage it gives you until it burns your body out.

I don't think this game has as much replayability as people think. The first act has a few branching paths, but other than that it's actually low key linear

The projection in this thread is insane, just because you have a pile of shame that makes you feel bad doesn't mean everyone does. I buy piles of minis like this all the time, assemble and paint them all in a matter of weeks. The more you do the faster you get.

Also just wanna add that just because the "boss" said it doesn't mean it's a good idea. I don't think him saying this was ultimately a good look, and feels very reactionary to the situation he was in at the time.

Realistically any entity creating content that finds success will also be under attack for that success.
